Adult Achievement Awards – Free Training For Your Volunteers

The Network is offering the Adult Achievement Awards Training Course again this year. This is a FREE training course for your adult volunteers, who give their time to member organisations. Due to Covid -19 restrictions, the course will be delivered online by tutors from Glasgow Clyde College.

The Adult achievement awards training course gives your volunteers the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification to SCQF Level 3, by working with tutors in a structured way to reflect on the skills, knowledge and experience they are gaining by doing their volunteering tasks.

This course is best suited to adult volunteers near the beginning of their learning journey, who want to begin to reflect on what and how they learn. You must be a volunteer or have volunteering experience in the last 12 months to apply.

The course will be run over several weeks on Zoom, a virtual meeting platform, therefore you will need a computer, laptop or tablet to take part. If your proposed participant does not have a computer, please fill in the relevant section of the form and we will try and get a recycled computer from our IT project for you.
