We were delighted to win the Ethical & Green Tech Award, sponsored by Go Code Green for our IT project #PluggedInGlasgow at the Scottish Care Care Tech Award last month.
“Congratulations to Martina Johnston-Gray and her team North West Glasgow Voluntary Sector Network SCIO for their work in circularity in ICT. Not only are they extending the life spans of devices and given them a 2nd, 3rd or even a 4th life but they are also measuring their impact……Britain is the 2nd biggest producer of eWaste per capita globally…..their devices enable people who can’t afford it to get online, to apply for jobs, to work from home when they have caring responsibilities and so much more.” A quote from the award sponsor.
