Staff Self-Care and Wellbeing Session with COPE Scotland

Join us with Hilda Campbell from COPE Scotland, who will be running a Wellbeing Session for member staff online on Thursday 9th February 11-11.45am – take some time out for you and pick up some tips on self-care and wellbeing!

Background:
We are living through some very challenging times with no immediate end point in sight. Our role is to support individuals and communities, especially those facing additional vulnerabilities and challenges navigate their way to place which supports their wellbeing. This is no small ask, the issues we face are significant. This is why it matters more than ever that those who care for and about others know their wellbeing matters too. We have to find ways where at least we can help reduce suffering and help ourselves and others find moments of joy in the moment while holding onto the hope of better days.

Content of the session:
Led by Hilda, this session for member staff, will focus on self-care and self-management strategies which can be used by staff and managers individually and within teams and shared with those they support. Including:

  • Surviving on the sea of life when the waters are stormy
  • How charged is your battery right now
  • The power of self-talk and what we say and hear from each other which supports collective care
  • There is also the opportunity following the session for attendees to email Hilda for clarification on any of the points covered.

Join us on Zoom on Thursday 9th February 11am-11.45am, just email hello.northwestglasgowvsn@outlook.com for the Zoom link.
